Just make a deposit.
Every day, a deposit of the word of God. It doesn't have to be complicated or take much time. A memory verse works anywhere, with every age, all at once.
Our kids are getting deposits from the world all day. We make more deposits of the Word of God than the world gets to make.
It doesn't have to be perfect. Just start.
Use the most consistent part of your day.
Ours is the drive to school.
Five kinds of verses. Pick a mix.

Two steps, then make it fun.
Call and response
Say three or four words. They repeat it back. Seven times, then add the next few words.
Split it across days
First half Monday, second half Tuesday, whole thing Wednesday.
They say it back the same way.
I'm not creative enough, but they work.
A snake, a scorpion, a mouth, a heart.
They love watching themselves.
Bring last week's verse back this week.
Older kids choose the family verse.
Tell them the verse and ask them to go over it too.
Film them saying it. Tag us.
